Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia in the elderly, and the incidence and prevalence are on the rise. This presentation provides an overview of the pathophysiology and staging of Alzheimer’s disease along with the neuro-radiological, visual and visual-motor findings. It is incumbent on doctors of optometry to be very familiar with this devastating condition.
