Diagnostic Imaging in Macular Degeneration

This lecture will review diagnostic imaging strategies useful in the evaluation of macular degeneration including fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography, fundus autofluorescence, and optical coherence tomography angiography. Each imaging technique provides a unique puzzle piece allowing for improved detection of clinical risk factors for progression and early signs of choroidal neovascular development.
